Barry and Vikki Arnwine

Barry Arnwine came to Wayland as a ministerial student, eventually changing his major to education. He met and married Wayland freshman Vikki Deck in 1968, then graduated in 1969 with a degree in education, physical education and history. Vikki spent two years at Wayland, then completed her education, English and art degree at West Texas State in 1972.

Barry, BA ’69, and Vikki, EX, remember their time at Wayland fondly, which is why they were pleased to extend their support of future Pioneers by endowing two scholarships, one in memory and honor of classmates Don and Barbara Robertson and one in their own name. They understand that the cost of an education can be a roadblock for some and wanted to bless others with these gifts.
